SHOE FAB: KERI HILSON

It's Miss Keri bayybee.. Indeed it is! Keri Hilson rocked a pair of Christian Loboutin's on the white carpet at the Billboard Music Awards. I know what your thinking.. no surprise there! Who's not wearing Christian Louboutin these days? *looks around* Uhmm.. so yeah, I'm drawing blanks!

Nevertheless, this nearly 5' inch heel is covered in a smooth leather metallic. The glittered strappy sandal, BALOTA, features a back zip closure and an accompanying price tag of $1,095. I tried this shoe on at Barney's and I would definitely recommend going one full size up if you buy them online because they do run a little small.  

This shoe is available in silver metallic and gold metallic. 

SOLE TO SOLE: ZANOTTI + CHOPARD



At the Cannes Film Festival, Italian shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti debuted a pair of pink high-heels covered in gems from fine jewelry company, Chopard. The combination of shoe designer and jewelry designer resulted in one pair of fabulous fuchsia heels dripping in diamonds, pink sapphires, tourmalines and russellites.

This hot pink, diamond encrusted shoe is prcing in at $180,000. Ouch! The bejeweled shoes make Dorothy's ruby slippers look like they'd serve an orthopedic purpose. As an added bonus, the ankle strap detaches and becomes a bracelet! Hey.. now that's what I call a great 2 for 1 special.

SOLE HOT OR SOLE NOT: FRANKIE MORELLO

Sometimes I see things and I just have one question: Where they do that at?

Clearly, the answer here is Italy! I mean really.. let's be serious.. Who's really running out to get this shoe? When I first saw it, I had to do a double take. Do my eyes forsake me or is that really a pony tail growing on the back of that shoe? Well, friends.. I'm afraid to announce that its real! It's actual! This is not a mirage.. and it belongs to the collection of Frankie Morello.

Now, I'm not knocking Frankie Morello because I am usually a fan of his work. He has some really great womenswear pieces but I don't know what happened here. Did he go horse-back riding the night before and wake up inspired?? This is a little too avante-garde for my personal taste and they certainly aren't on a level that I can appreciate relative to fashion but hey.. you may be feeling this!

I need to hear back from you.. Is this sole hot or sole not?
